Description
When you’re working ground in tough conditions and one of your field cultivator tines breaks or gets bent out of shape, you need a replacement that’ll handle whatever the field throws at it. This S-tine is built to flex with rocks and debris while keeping consistent penetration depth to break up compaction and prepare a good seedbed. It’s the kind of part that keeps your field work moving when stopping isn’t an option.
What You’re Getting
- Heavy-duty 1/2-inch thick steel construction that flexes without breaking under field stress
- Nearly 30-inch length provides excellent soil penetration and mixing action
- Pre-drilled mounting holes for 5/8-inch toolbar bolt and adjustable 7/16-inch attachment points
- Spring action design that trips over obstacles and returns to working position automatically
- Direct replacement part that bolts right onto your existing Baker field cultivator toolbar
Built for Real Farm Work
This tine is designed specifically for Baker field cultivators used in primary tillage operations. Whether you’re working corn stubble in the spring, breaking up compacted areas after harvest, or preparing ground for cover crops, this S-tine handles the tough work that comes with modern farming operations.
Made to Last
Field cultivator tines take a beating from rocks, roots, and hard ground conditions. This one’s made from quality steel that’s heat-treated for the right combination of strength and flexibility. The spring design lets it bend when it hits something solid, then snap back to working position instead of breaking off.
Installation Notes
The tine mounts to your toolbar with a single 5/8-inch bolt at the top, and the bottom end has both a fixed hole and slotted hole for 7/16-inch bolts that let you adjust spacing. Make sure your toolbar bolt is tight—a loose tine will work harder than it should and wear out faster. Check all your tines periodically during the season for proper tension and wear.
