Description
When you’re pushing 300 horsepower through a 16-row planter or dragging massive tillage tools through tough ground, your engine’s working harder than most operators can imagine. These big John Deere tractors generate serious heat and pressure, and their oil filtration needs to match that intensity. This filter’s built specifically for the demands of high-horsepower farming where engine protection can make or break your season.
What You’re Getting
- High-capacity design handles the massive oil flow rates these big engines demand
- Enhanced filtration media captures more contaminants without restricting flow
- Heavy-duty construction withstands extreme pressure fluctuations and heat cycles
- Extended service intervals mean fewer changes during busy seasons
- Direct OEM replacement that bolts right on without modifications
Built for Real Farm Work
This filter protects some of the most powerful tractors ever built for agriculture – from the versatile 7000 series workhorses to the massive 9000 series machines that power the biggest operations. Whether you’re running a 7820 on a custom harvesting crew or operating a 9620 on thousands of acres, these engines represent serious investments that demand serious protection.
Made to Last
High-horsepower engines create challenging conditions for oil filters. The combination of extreme heat, high oil pressures, and extended run times during critical operations like planting and harvest puts tremendous stress on filtration components. This filter’s engineered with reinforced construction and premium filter media that maintains effectiveness even under the most demanding conditions.
Installation Notes
Change this filter with every oil service, typically every 200-300 hours depending on operating conditions. Apply a thin film of clean oil to the gasket before installation and hand-tighten three-quarters turn past gasket contact. These big engines hold a lot of oil, so have extra drain pans ready and allow plenty of time for complete drainage.
