Good to Know

Always change your oil and filter together – new filter with old contaminated oil defeats the whole purpose. Hand-tighten the new filter until the gasket contacts the mounting surface, then turn it 3/4 turn more. Don’t over-tighten or you’ll crush the gasket and create leaks. Check your oil level after a few hours since the new filter holds some oil.
