Installation Notes

Never store the unit on its side or upside down, as this can cause fluid migration that affects performance. Inspect your fan blades for cracks or damage before installation—a bent blade will destroy a new clutch quickly. After installation, the fan should freewheel easily when cold, then show increasing engagement as the engine warms, with full lock-up around 200°F.
