Description

When your Q Cab’s rear window frame starts rusting out or letting in rain and dust, you know it’s time for action. A damaged or rusted rear window frame doesn’t just look bad – it lets in rain, dust, and cold air that makes your cab miserable to work in. This complete frame assembly gets your 10 series tractor sealed up tight again, bringing back the weather protection and visibility that made these Q Cabs so popular when they first came out.

What You’re Getting

  • Complete frame assembly includes all mounting points and glass channels – no hunting for missing pieces
  • Heavy-gauge steel construction resists rust and cab flex damage better than lighter aftermarket options
  • Precise factory dimensions ensure proper glass fit and seal without modifications
  • Primer coating gives you a good base for matching your cab’s paint whether it’s original blue or something else
  • Specifically designed for standard Q Cabs – won’t work on the taller Super Q models

Built for Real Farm Work

The Ford 10 series tractors with Q Cabs – including the 5610, 6610, 7610, 2610, 3610, 4610, 7810, 7710, and 8210 – revolutionized operator comfort when they were introduced. These 60-110 HP tractors are still working hard on farms everywhere, but their cab frames take a beating from vibration, rust, and the occasional tree branch. Whether you’re running a planter, pulling a disc, or doing loader work, these Q Cabs provide the weather protection that keeps you productive all day long.

Made to Last

This complete frame assembly uses heavier steel than many aftermarket options, providing the rigidity needed to keep your glass secure and properly sealed. All the critical mounting points and weld locations match factory specifications, so installation doesn’t become a fabrication project. The steel construction handles the constant flexing and movement that comes with cab operation while resisting the rust that eventually kills most window frames.

Installation Notes

Installation requires removing your rear glass, cutting out the old frame (usually rusted in place), and welding in the new assembly. This is definitely a job for someone comfortable with bodywork and welding. Plan on 4-6 hours for a proper installation. Don’t confuse this with the Super Q version – if your cab is noticeably taller, you need part 41718 instead. While you have everything apart, inspect the rest of your cab frame for rust, especially around the floor and door posts. Address any issues now – cab rust tends to spread quickly once it starts.
