Description
When you’re trying to engage your PTO and nothing happens, or your implement starts and stops without warning, chances are good you’ve got clutch problems. The PTO clutch steel disc is what transfers power from your engine to the PTO shaft, and when it’s worn or damaged, your implements won’t get the smooth, consistent power they need to do their job right.
Key Features
- Heavy-duty steel construction handles the high torque loads of modern agricultural implements
- Precision-manufactured friction surfaces provide positive engagement without slipping or chattering
- Heat-treated material resists wear from constant engagement cycles and high temperatures
- Works together with the friction disc to create the complete clutch pack that controls PTO operation
- Direct replacement for original equipment – no modifications needed
Built for Real Farm Work
This steel disc works in a wide range of Fendt tractors, from the compact Xylon utility models up through the big 900 Vario row-crop machines. Whether you’re running a rotary cutter on your Farmer 300, operating a baler with your Favorit 800, or powering heavy tillage equipment with a 920 Vario, this disc handles the power transfer your PTO demands.
Made to Last
PTO clutches see some of the hardest use on your tractor, with constant engagement under load and exposure to dust and debris. This steel disc is built to handle those conditions, with materials that resist heat buildup and maintain their friction characteristics even after thousands of engagement cycles.
Good to Know
This steel disc works with the PTO clutch friction disc (part 56458) to create the complete clutch assembly. When one disc is worn, it’s smart to replace both since they work as a matched pair. PTO clutch service requires splitting the tractor, so this is typically a job for an experienced mechanic with the right tools and knowledge of proper assembly procedures.
