Description

When your brake pedal starts feeling spongy or you’ve noticed brake fluid puddles under your tractor, it’s time to take action. A failing brake master cylinder turns what should be confident stopping power into a dangerous situation, especially when you’re pulling heavy equipment or working on hills. This brake master cylinder is the heart of the hydraulic braking system, converting mechanical force from the brake pedal into hydraulic pressure for reliable, responsive braking performance.

What You’re Getting

  • Precision-machined cylinder bore ensures smooth piston operation and reliable pressure generation for consistent stopping power
  • Heavy-duty construction withstands extreme agricultural operating conditions and the daily demands of farm work
  • Designed specifically for LHM mineral oil brake systems—the special fluid these tractors require
  • Direct bolt-in replacement that works with your existing brake lines and slave cylinders

Built for Real Farm Work

This master cylinder fits mid-size utility and row-crop tractors that handle everything from loader work to field cultivation. Whether you’re running a Centauro for general farm duties, a Tiger for field work, or a Jaguar for heavy operations, these tractors need reliable brakes for safe operation in all conditions. These Same-built tractors are workhorses that tackle everything from hay operations to tillage work, and you need brakes you can count on when pulling heavy implements or navigating steep ground.

Made to Last

Farm tractors put brake systems through tough conditions—dust, moisture, temperature swings, and heavy loads. This master cylinder is built with quality seals and materials that stand up to these challenges. The robust construction ensures years of reliable service, even with the vibration and stress that comes with daily farm use.

Installation Notes

Make sure to use proper LHM brake fluid—never standard DOT brake fluid, which will damage the seals. Bench bleed the new cylinder before mounting to remove air from the system, and after installation, bleed the entire system starting with the wheel farthest from the master cylinder. It’s also the perfect time to inspect your brake lines and check fluid levels for the first few days after installation.
