Installation Notes
Clean the splines thoroughly before installation – any debris will cause premature wear. Check your seal condition while you’re there; a leaking rear seal will contaminate your new shaft. Apply a thin coat of grease to the splines before assembly. Most folks can swap this out in about 30 minutes with basic tools. Always make sure your PTO is disengaged and the engine is shut off before starting any work.
