Description
When your Ford starts wandering down the road or you feel the steering wheel shimmy during turns, chances are that left front spindle is telling you it’s had enough. The left spindle often wears faster than the right because of road crown and turning patterns, and once it goes bad, every trip becomes an exercise in white-knuckle steering. This TISCO replacement spindle brings your Ford’s front end back to factory specifications.
What You’re Getting
- Solid steel forging that’s precision machined where it matters most
- Bearing surfaces ground to specific dimensions and surface finishes that bearings need for long life
- Direct OEM replacement that restores proper steering geometry
- Heavy-duty construction designed to handle decades of farm work
Built for Real Farm Work
These 35-55 HP tractors are the Swiss Army knives of small farms – mowing in the morning, running a tiller at noon, moving round bales in the evening. All that varied work puts unique stresses on front-end components. This spindle fits Ford 2000, 3000, and 4000 series tractors from 1965-1975, handling everything from loader work to highway transport with confidence.
Made to Last
This spindle starts as a solid steel forging, then gets precision machined where it matters most. The kingpin bore maintains exact angles for proper caster and camber, while carefully placed grease passages ensure lubrication reaches all the critical wear points. It’s built to handle the temperature swings, vibration, and loads that farm work demands.
Installation Notes
Installation requires about 2 hours per side if everything cooperates. New bearings and seals are cheap insurance during installation – a new spindle with old bearings is false economy. Check your kingpins while accessible – worn pins negate the benefits of new spindles.
