Installation Notes

This is a crimp-on fitting, so you’ll need the right crimping tool and die set to attach it to your hydraulic hose. Make sure your hose is cut square and clean before crimping—a good, straight cut makes all the difference in getting a proper seal. If you’re not set up to crimp your own hoses, most hydraulic shops can install this fitting for you. Remember that ORFS threads seal with the O-ring, so hand-tighten plus a quarter turn is usually enough—no need to reef on them like pipe threads.
