Description
When you’ve got power that needs to get from one shaft to another on your equipment, this coupling body end gets the job done right. Whether it’s connecting a PTO to an implement or coupling motor shafts on a feed mixer, these Lovejoy coupling bodies handle the torque transfer while dealing with the slight misalignment that’s just part of farm life.
What You’re Getting
- Rugged sintered iron construction that stands up to farm equipment demands
- No-maintenance design—no grease fittings or regular servicing needed
- Hollow head setscrews for secure shaft attachment without shaft damage
- Handles both angular and parallel misalignment so your equipment runs smoother
Built for Real Farm Work
This coupling body end is made of sintered iron or cast iron and doesn’t require lubrication, making it perfect for the dusty, demanding environment of agricultural equipment. You’ll find these couplings in everything from grain handling systems to manure spreaders where reliable power transfer is critical.
Made to Last
The sintered iron construction means this coupling can handle the constant vibration and shock loads that come with farm work. It accommodates 1° angular and 0.015″ of parallel misalignment, which means less wear on bearings and smoother operation even when things aren’t perfectly aligned.
Good to Know
You’ll need 2 coupling body ends and 1 spider for a complete coupling assembly. The hollow setscrews are gentler on shafts than regular setscrews, and they distribute clamping force more evenly. Make sure both shafts are clean and free of burrs before installation for the best grip.
