Description
When your Allis Chalmers starts feeling sluggish or you notice exhaust smoke that wasn’t there before, worn exhaust valves might be the culprit. These valves take a beating from hot exhaust gases every time your engine fires, and over time they can warp, burn, or just plain wear out. This replacement exhaust valve gets your engine breathing properly again so you can get back to productive work.
What You’re Getting
- Precision-machined valve that meets original equipment specifications
- Heat-treated construction designed to handle the punishment of diesel exhaust
- Proper valve seat angle for tight sealing and maximum compression
- Direct replacement—no modifications needed for installation
Built for Real Farm Work
This valve fits the diesel engines found in Allis Chalmers D10, D12, D14, and D15 series tractors, including the workhorse WD and WD45 models that have been moving dirt and pulling implements for decades. Whether you’re cultivating, disking, or running a brush hog, these are the tractors that get the job done day after day.
Made to Last
Exhaust valves operate in one of the harshest environments in your engine—exposed to extreme heat and corrosive exhaust gases with every combustion cycle. This valve is manufactured from quality steel alloy and heat-treated to resist warping and burning, giving you the durability to handle years of hard farm work.
Good to Know
Valve replacement requires removing the cylinder head, so it’s a good time to check valve guides and seats while you’re in there. If you’re doing a full engine rebuild, you’ll need four valves for the 175 CID four-cylinder engine or six valves for the 262 CID six-cylinder version. Don’t forget to check valve clearances when you reassemble everything.
