Good to Know

Before installing the new belt, check your pulleys for wear or damage—a worn pulley will eat up a new belt fast. Make sure you get the belt tension right—too loose and it’ll slip and squeal, too tight and you’ll wear out bearings. The belt should deflect about half an inch with firm thumb pressure.
